Annual Dalbyology takes place at Dalby Forest

THE joy of “ologies” old and new will be on display at Dalby Forest near Pickering on Sunday.
Heliology, the study of the sun, archaeology and horology the study of clocks, will be among the subjects featured at the fifth annual Dalbyology event.
This year’s gathering is on the theme of “Time” and those taking part include the RSPB, North Yorkshire Rotters, East Yorkshire Fungi Group, Scarborough Field Naturalists, National Trust, Forestry Commission, Hawk and Owl Trust, Scarborough’s Rotunda Museum, Ryedale Mountain Rescue, North York Moors National Park, Scarborough Sealife Centre and Butterfly Conservation.
