Boy, eight, rescued after impaling himself on railings

AN eight-year-old boy was rescued by firefighters after he impaled himself on some railings in North Yorkshire.
Two fire crews were sent to rescue the child after he became stuck on the rusty metal railings in Stainsacre Lane in Whitby shortly before 2pm on Wedneseday.
The child was taken to hospital with a puncture wound to his arm, a spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue service said.
