Free advice update for private landlords

PRIVATE housing landlords are invited to a joint meeting held by the National Landlords Association (NLA) and Ryedale District Council tomorrow (Thursday) to discuss the latest issues affecting them.
The meeting will include an update on changes to council regulations and housing benefits in Ryedale and will feature a presentation from the Energy Saving Partnership on the Green Deal, which is due to become available in the autumn. It will also include a presentation on the NLA Accreditation Scheme.
Dr Mike Troke, NLA representative in North Yorkshire said: “A lot of changes both at national and local government level are affecting landlords.”
The meeting, which is open to all private landlords and is free to attend, is at 6pm at Malton & Norton Rugby Club, Old Malton Road, Malton.
