Camping park in awards final

REBECCA and Damian Palmer-Bunting from the Robin Hood Caravan and Camping Park in Slingsby have been named as finalists in the Outstanding Customer Service category of the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2012.
As finalists, Rebecca and Damian now go forward to the awards ceremony which is being held at Athena in Leicester on May 22.
James Berresford, VisitEngland’s chief executive, said: “The quality of submissions this year has been outstanding and Rebecca and Damian from Robin Hood Caravan and Camping Park can justifiably take credit and pride in earning a place in the top five in their category in England. I wish everyone all the best for the final.”
Rebecca said: “We are both very proud to be named as finalists in this award. We’ve had a really exciting 12 months as finalists in the Visit York and Welcome to Yorkshire awards and can’t wait for the ceremony in May.”
