SALES of wristbands for this month’s Malton Food Lovers Festival have rocketed after the event was mentioned on the television programme Saturday Kitchen.
Presenter James Martin and guest Antonio Carluccio chatted about his role in the festival on May 19 and 20.
Tom Naylor-Leyland, one of the festival organisers, said: “We were delighted with the instant reaction on our website to James Martin chatting with Antonio about how he will be cooking live at the festival. We are so fortunate to be supported by foodies of their calibre.”
