Thirsk and Malton in top ten for caravanning holidays

THIRSK and Malton have been named in The Caravan Club’s top 10 caravanning holiday hot spots.

The Caravan Club found that the neighbouring constituencies of Thirsk and Malton and Richmond benefit to the tune of almost £5 million per year from the caravanners who stay on the club’s five sites and 90 certificated locations within their boundaries.

Anne McIntosh, MP for Thirsk & Malton, said: “I would like to congratulate the two Caravan Club sites in my constituency, at Thirsk Racecourse and The Howard, Rosedale Abbey, for the many plaudits I know they have received.

“I am delighted North Yorkshire is proving such an attraction for caravanners with all the excellent facilities we have to offer.”
