ONE Night Only have followed up their debut EP, Your Perfect Place, with their latest offering Revelation.

You and Me is the opening song on the CD and shows the definite Indie slant that the band has taken on in their music.

There is definite influences of bands such as The Coral and The Libertines in this song, which is a far cry from the pop punk/punk rock genre that One Night Only fitted into with songs such as My Pride.

Jack is now an established member of One Night Only and it is clear to see that he is now taking a focal point in the writing of the songs. 74 per cent.

What It Takes To Let Go is an absolutely beautiful song. It truly is one of those songs that would get played at the end of a film where the two people who are in love have to say goodbye.

This song takes on a ballad format, with the keyboard making up the majority of the music throughout the song, up until the last minute or so.

The vocals on this track are headed by Mark and his voice carries the song really well. I think this is the best song I have heard from One Night Only. 96 per cent.

Revelation starts off quietly with a lot of effects before George enters with some soft sounding vocals.

There is a really nice picked guitar riff in this song which really stands out. This is another song that shows One Night Only have achieved the talent of being able to write songs that would end a film as it really has that nostalgic feel to it.

The song picks up mid-way through and takes on a slow punk rock song in the style of Yellowcard.

Revelation has a very catchy chorus and you could imagine a crowd singing along to it with really emotion. 86 per cent.

Dreaming was featured on the Babylon Album and has since been re-recorded for the 'Revelation' EP.

This song is quite catchy and, again, has Mark taking on lead vocals, with George singing a duet in the chorus. This song isn't One Night Only's best song, but again sticks in your head. 78 per cent.

This Kingdom Perfect is the final song on the EP and is quite upbeat. This song is made up of very listenable vocals and music.

The chorus is a really show ending chorus. It is the kind of song you would expect the band to cut out on, and have a venue packed with fans chanting it.

There is a nice breakdown in the middle of This Kingdom Perfect and a memorable guitar solo. The guitar and piano breakdown is amazing. This is a very strong and listenable song. 91 per cent.

This is a very pleasant offering from One Night Only and worth listening to. The chemistry between the instruments is spot on. This is one of the best CDs to come out of the area.

Rating - 85 per cent.
