A NATIONAL charity is inviting romantic folk to show they are all heart.
With February named as National Heart Month, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) is asking people in York, North and East Yorkshire to go public with their affection for loved ones, by writing a Love Note in their local BHF shop window.
For a suggested donation of £1, people can declare their love in the windows of BHF shops in Acomb, York, Bridlington, Goole, Harrogate, Northallerton, Selby, Scarborough, Thirsk and Whitby, or they can go really red and donate £2 for a giant Love Note.
Linda Puchala, area manager for the BHF shops in Yorkshire, said: “Love Notes are a fantastic way to publicly declare your love for your friends, family or a special someone and to show support for the BHF Red For Heart campaign.”
