A PUB charity night to mark 100 days since York chef Claudia Lawrence disappeared raised nearly £2,700.
The School House Inn, at Low Marishes, near Malton, hosted the evening of entertainment last Saturday.
All proceeds have been split between three charities chosen by the pub’s regulars – the Friends of Malton Hospital, Leukaemia Research and Missing People, a charity that helps find people like Claudia.
The evening included a barbecue, live music by The Nobodys, a raffle, a Space Hopper track and an auction of promises.
Martin Dales, friend and spokesman for Claudia’s father, Peter Lawrence, said: “I went along with Peter and my family and a great night was had by all.
“People were incredibly generous, particularly in the auction of promises, and the food was excellent, with puddings made and donated by local people.
“It was clear a huge amount of work had gone into the arrangements and everyone is very grateful to the owners, Sarah and Matthew Richardson, for their efforts and to local people and traders for their generosity in sponsorship.”
Claudia, 35, who lived in Malton before moving to York four years ago, has not been seen since March 18.
