A WOMAN was taken to hospital with back injuries after she was involved in a car crash at the top of Sutton Bank.
The collision involved a Volvo car, in which the woman was a passenger, and a van.
Fire crews from Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside and Thirsk spent nearly two hours at the scene, along with paramedics.
The male van driver received treatment at the roadside for minor injuries.
