COUNCIL workers in Ryedale will go on a two-day strike next month.
Last week Unison voted to take industrial action after rejecting a 2.45 per cent pay offer.
Members working for Ryedale District Council will stage a strike on July 16 and 17, followed by further stoppages if the deadlock is not broken.
Ryedale District Council’s chief executive, Janet Waggot, said: “Our services may or may not be affected.”
