Star guest at literary evening

TELEVISION and theatre star Hannah Gordon is a guest at an evening of literary readings and musical interludes at the Black Swan Hotel in Helmsley.

Hannah has more than 30 years acting and presenting experience but is best known for her appearances in Upstairs, Downstairs, My Wife Next Door and as Victor Meldrew's killer in the final episode of One Foot In The Grave.

At the Black Swan event, on Thursday, August 14, she will be joined by a surprise guest actor to portray material as diverse as Willy Russell, Siegfried Sassoon and Noel Coward, mixed in with a selection of musical numbers provided by musicians Clive Conway and Christine Croshaw.
