SEWER works will close a road in York for four days this week.
City of York Council announced Penley's Grove Street will be closed from Monday, August 20, to allow the works to take place.
A spokesman said vehicles will be prohibited from entering the street until midnight on Friday, August 24, unless the work is completed earlier, to ensure the works can be carried out safely.
An alternative route for diverted traffic will be signposted during the works period, with barriers and signs in place.
Local access will not be affected.
