Reading Geoffrey Searstone’s letter (“Sparking debate on city centre”, The Press, August 14) I cannot agree more.
But sadly it seems no amount of remarks, complaints or letters are going to make any difference to the rapid decline of our once beautiful city.
We appear to be in the minority of those who would really like to see real change and improvements despite paying exorbitant council tax.
It is also the responsibility of the ‘couldn’t care less’ society we live in.
