OULTON maintained their position at the head of the All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League Conference Division table with a three-wicket win over battling Rodley.

They were indebted to Jonathan Henshaw for their latest success.

He made an unbeaten 107, which enabled his side to chase down Rodley’s 238-6.

Henshaw’s innings contained 16 fours and he was backed up by Matthew Boucher (34) as Oulton defied the efforts of Dave Myers-Charles (4-50) and Rob Young (3-51).

Rodley’s innings featured a fine 106 from Lachlan Roache, who hit three sixes and 13 fours and was joined in a first-wicket alliance of 102 by Young (46).

Jonathan Gardiner was the pick of the Oulton bowlers with 3-44.

An unbeaten 68 from Tom Watson steered second-placed Jer Lane to a seven-wicket win over Crossbank Methodists.

Raqeeb Younis (34) gave support as Jer Lane eased past their opponents’ modest score of 131.

Only Razeeb Raja (37) made an impression for Crossbank as Gurdev Singh (3-34) and Saeed Mirza (3-10) got to work.

Adwalton’s faltering promotion challenge suffered another blow as they went down by 35 runs against Great Preston.

Vinit Patel took 6-37 as Adwalton dismissed Great Preston for 167, a total that owed much to the efforts of Jack Morrison (81).

Adwalton’s reply faltered with Chris Priestley (38) top-scoring as they were bowled out for 132.

Jacob Wright (4-38) and Lee Russell (3-25) did the damage.

Another bowler to take six wickets and end up on the losing side was Sandal’s Sam Noden.

He took 6-64 as East Leeds made 206 on their way to a 31-run win over his side.

Zahid Tarvas (52) and Ben Wilkinson (35no) helped East Leeds to their total, while Kieran Dransfield (60) top- scored in Sandal’s 175.

Alan Olbison was the best East Leeds bowlers with 3-25.

Third-placed Azaad were six-wicket winners overs over Heckmondwike & Carlinghow after chasing down a total of 185.

Tanvir Hussain (41), Umar Mirza (38) and Zaeem Zulfqar (30) guided Azaad to victory after Javed Iqbal (45) and Ahmed Butt (37) top-scored for Heckmondwike & Carlinghow.

Zulfqar (4-21) and Bilal Akram (3-47) took the bowling honours for Azaad.

Liam Pearson took 5-47 to set up Gildersome & Farnley Hill’s three-wicket win over Windhill & Daisy Hill.

Shoaib Iqbal (43no) continued his good form for Windhill but lacked support as Pearson and Stefan James (4-35) got to work.

Gildersome & Farnley Hill had a few edgy moments before Jack Irwin (40) and Richard Bedford (30) pushed their side towards their target.

Danny Halstead took 3-25 for bottom team Windhill.
