Reader's letter
SO now an application has been made for a fish and chip shop to open in Parliament Street (“Daddy of fish and chips eyes York site”, August 1).
Our once lovely main street of York will have the constant odour that goes with such an establishment.
I sincerely hope that the City of York Council will smell this one out and stop it in the pan.
