ONE of the biggest one-day shows in the country takes place on Tuesday.
Ryedale Show is based at Welburn Park, Kirkbymoorside, and brings together the farming community as well as providing a fun day out for all the family.
This year’s main sponsors are Ryedale Auctioneers in Kirkbymoorside. Owner Angus Ashworth said: “We are proud to support the Ryedale Show. I have been visiting the show since I was knee high and I believe it is one of the best single-day shows in the country and a massive asset to Ryedale. Long may its success continue.”
Show secretary Christine Thompson said this year’s show has all the hallmarks of being a great success and continues to attract a quality field of exhibitors in all sections.
“A big thank you must go to all our section secretaries and willing volunteers who help throughout the year and without whom the show just wouldn’t happen. It all comes together on the day due to a massive team effort behind the scenes.
“We do hope the weather holds and all our visitors enjoy their day.”
Ryedale Show is on Tuesday, July 31. Gates open to the public at 8.30am.
