Pickering Methodist Church is hosting cake and a cuppa event next month
PICKERING Methodist Church is hosting BBC Radio York’s “Biggest Ever” Cake and a Cuppa event on Wednesday, August 1, from 2pm to 4pm.
The Cake and a Cuppa initiative began in 2017 in an attempt to address loneliness and social isolation. Following its initial success a monthly event is now held at the church.
All the cakes and refreshments are made by volunteers, and entry is free.
