FIRE crews were called to a fire in the North York Moors yesterday.
Crews from both the Whitby and Goathland stations went to the scene near the A169 at Goathland at 11.30am yesterday (Sunday).
They extinguished approximately 200 metres of grass which was on fire along side a railway line.
The firemen used four backpack sprayers and two lengths of 45mm hose to fight the fire.
