VISITORS to this year's Malton Show enjoyed a warm, sunny day with unbroken blue skies.
The 132nd Malton Show was held at Scampston Park, near Rilllington today.
This year Georgia Horsley was chosen as president - only the second female to hold the position in the show's history.
Georgia, who is originally from Norton, was crowned Miss England in 2007 and four years ago married musician Danny Jones of the band McFly.
“I was incredibly honoured to be asked to be lady president at this year’s show,” she said.
“I used to love going to the show when I was younger and have nothing but fond memories of attending the show with my family and now I have been able to bring my family. It has been an amazing day."
Show committee chairman Charlie Breese said: “We are delighted to welcome Georgia to Malton Show which has given a younger, fresher approach to the event.
"It has been another great show with more entrants than ever before and fantastic weather.
He added: "The showground also has anew layout and we have a larger number of trade stands. It is fantastic that we get so much local support for the show which is one of the leading agricultural events of the season."
