MADNESS front man Suggs is to return to Scarborough later this year with his brand new one man show.

After a sell-out show in 2016 and wowing the crowds at Scarborough Open Air Theatre with his group Madness in 2017, Suggs heads back to Scarborough Spa on Sunday 21 October with his second one man show: ‘What a King Cnut, A Life in the Realm of Madness’.

If his first show was about how on Earth he got there, Suggs: What a King Cnut is about the surprises that awaited him when he did.

Vertigo on the roof of Buckingham Palace. Nearly blowing the closing ceremony of the Olympics. Watching his underpants fall to earth on Bowie’s driveway.

Things have gone a smidge surreal since the Madness frontman was a 12 year old in shorts on the tough streets of North London.

Constantly expecting that inevitable tap on the shoulder to hear ‘what are you doing here, Sunshine?’ how have I got this far? he asks himself.

In this business you can be washed up at any minute. How have I managed to get away with it for so long?

Tickets for ‘Suggs: ‘What a King Cnut, A Life in the Realm of Madness’ are available from The Scarborough Spa Box Office on 01723 821888 or via www.scarboroughspa.co.uk
