THE rail company that runs York to Scarborough trains is warning of delays for customers claiming compensation over timetable problems.
Transpennine Express is part of the national 'Delay Repay' scheme for passengers affected by train delays and cancellations.
In a statement on its website the company said: “Please be aware that we are currently experiencing higher than normal volumes of contact and it may take up to 20 working days for us to respond back to you.”
