A VILLAGE pub at the gateway to the North York Moors has been put on the market.

The Three Tuns in Osmotherley, which has been owned by the Di Giorgio family for 13 years, includes a restaurant, bar, snug and beer garden, as well as four en suite letting rooms.

Mrs Di Giorgio said: “Osmotherley is a fantastic place to live and work, and the Three Tuns has meant we can enjoy the social side of the hospitality trade, welcoming customers and guests from all over the world, whilst ultimately bringing in a good income.

“We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and while we continue to run the business as though we’ll be here indefinitely, my plans are ultimately to move out of the village and on to pastures new.”

David Cash, business agent at Christie & Co’s Newcastle office, said: “Osmotherley is a quintessential North Yorkshire village and The Three Tuns is a charming character property, immaculately presented throughout.”

Christie & Co is marketing the freehold of The Three Tuns at an asking price of £700,000.
