RYEDALE enjoyed all the celebrations of the Royal Wedding on Saturday.
The marriage of Prince Harry and Megan Markle was marked with bunting and decorations with many local shops dressing their windows in a wedding theme.
Liz Kemp, from Kemps store in Malton Market Place said: “I try and change the window display quite frequently so decided to have a royal wedding theme.
“There were some other nice wedding ones in town too.”
Other window displays included Tiny Tots and the Topiary Tree in Finkle Street, Malton and the Children in Distress charity shop in Kirkbymoorside.
Elsewhere children celebrated with their own version of the royal wedding with youngsters dressing up for the day at Malton Primary School and dancers at Kirkham Henry putting on their version on the big day.
