SCREEN superstar Dame Joan Collins will play the Grand Opera House, York, on September 19 in her intimate one-woman show Joan Collins Unscripted.

The London-born actress and author will reveal stories and secrets from her long career and will hold a question-and-answer session with the chance to ask questions about her life and roles on stage and screen. Dame Joan, who will turn 85 on May 23, is best known for playing Alexis Carrington in the 1980sā€™ American soap Dynasty.

In 2015, Joan was made a Dame for services to charity.

Since the late 1970s, Joan has written several books, including beauty and autobiographical books.

In 1988, she published her first novel, Prime Time, and she has continued to publish various kinds of writing.
