Cash machine catches fire
A CASH machine caught fire in Scarborough early this morning.
Firefighters were called to Thomas Street at about 3.40am where a cash machine had been on fire.
North Yorkshire fire service said the fire is believed to have started due to an electrical fault.
The fire head been put out before the crews arrived by staff using an extinguisher.
The crews used a thermal image camera to ensure the fire was out.
