Attempt to break into van
AN attempt was made to break into a transit van in East Heslerton overnight on Sunday.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Local residents are reminded not to leave expensive tools in their vans especially if they are being left in vulnerable locations.
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area or any other locations should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 12180068216.
