VILLAGERS in Butterwick got together for a Good Friday lunch in church which raised £100 for the people of South Sudan.
Churchwarden Mary Tate said: “Over the last few years new families have moved into the village, and there’s a real community spirit, so when we put an idea forward like the charity lunch, it’s caught with enthusiasm and there was loads of home made bread, pate and cakes and a very jolly atmosphere.”
