MORE than 80 students at Malton School are preparing to light up the sky like a flame in this year’s production of Fame.
Jon Lee, drama teacher, said: “I’ve been amazed at the amount of talent that we have here at Malton School and I’m really looking forward to seeing the electricity on stage.
“We have aimed high with this year’s show and the students have worked incredibly hard to achieve what they have.”
Pete Woodrow, who is leading the band for the show, added: “We have been rehearsing weekly since January and pulling together what is quite a challenging musical score.”
The show will be performed in the drama studio from Tuesday, March 27 to Thursday, March 29, at 7pm.
Tickets are on sale from the school’s West Wing reception.
