Plans have been submitted for a sunbed salon at 22 George Hudson Street
A NEW tanning salon could open in a vacant retail unit in the city centre.
Plans have been submitted to City of York Council for a branch of tanning chain Indigo Sun to open at 22 George Hudson Street.
The proposals include space for 10 cubicles within the 111 sq m site as well as a reception counter, storeroom and accessible toilet.
Documents show the salon could create four full time jobs and the proposed opening hours run from 9am to 10pm from Monday to Friday, 9am to 9pm on Saturdays and 10am to 9pm on Sundays.
Designs include manoeuvring space and wider aisles to help disabled customers.
