A HOMELESSNESS charity is asking Ryedale residents for support.
SASH organises volunteer "hosts" who have a spare room to temporarily take in a young homeless person.
On March 1, SASH staff will be at Hope Central in Castlegate in Malton, from 10.30am to noon, to explain what hosting is and answer questions.
Dawn Stephenson, of SASH, said: “Our work is crucial in securing a positive future for young people who find themselves with no safe place to stay. Despite demand for our services, we are very short of hosts. So if anyone has a spare room and would like to help, please do get in touch, or come along to our sessions to find out more.”
