A CAR collided with a woman and then drove off after one of the occupants apologised.
North Yorkshire Police said the collision happened in Falsgrave Road in Scarborough at around 9.40am on Saturday.
A spokesman for the force explained: "A vehicle described as a white estate car emerged from an internal shop car park and collided with the woman who sustained a minor injury to her arm.
"The vehicle contained two men and one of them apologised to the woman before it drove off."
Officers are appealing for witnesses and to anyone who can help identify the vehicle and the occupants to get in touch.
Occupants of the car or anyone with information are urged to phone North Yorkshire Police on 101.
