POLICE are appealing for information after a "road rage" incident in Norton yesterday morning involving a Nissan Micra and a HGV.
A police spokesperson said they were contacted at 3.15pm on Tuesday by the driver of a yellow DAF HGV vehicle who had been involved in a with a beige Nissan Micra on Mill Street in Norton.
Following the collision an altercation occurred which resulted in criminal damage to the HGV.
The driver of the Nissan Micra left the scene but the vehicle was later traced to a property in Norton.
A 38-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of using threatening and abusive language, criminal damage and dangerous driving.
A 36-year-old man from Norton was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and obstructing/resisting an officer in the execution of duty.
Both men currently remain in police custody.
The car was later seized by officers and two arrests were made.
