Litter pickers in Malton and Norton will be out for the Great British Spring Clean
MALTON and Norton is joining the Keep Britain Tidy "Great British Spring Clean" next month.
Malton and Norton Tidy Up group are holding a litter pick and clear up on Sunday March 4 10am - 12pm.
The meeting point is at St Nicholas Street Car Park in Norton to lend a hand, but volunteers do not have to stay for the full two hours. Work will include litter picking, weeding and sweeping with bags and litter pickers provided by Ryedale District Council - although people should take their own gloves.
The council is also reminding people to report littering via www.ryedale.gov.uk/report-litter.html.
