ONCE again there was the traditional and the unexpected at this year’s Norton College Christmas concert.
More than 300 pupils and parents gathered together to celebrate in St Peter’s Church in Norton. There were performances from the choirs and J Band, recitals by children in the lower years and sixth formers and a special performance from the staff.
Victoria Briggs, music teacher, said: “There were some outstanding performances at our concert that clearly moved us all and some hilarious moments that simply make this event, so memorable and special. We are grateful to Rev Rachel Hirst for allowing us to use the church to accommodate the large numbers of who wanted to join us to celebrate Christmas, as well as celebrate the talent of our young people.”
