POLICE have named the man killed in a crash on the A170 near Kirkbymoorside at the weekend.
Christopher Wray, 20, of Lendales Lane in Pickering, died after the car he was driving, a blue Volkswagen Polo, left the road near the junction with Appleton-le-Moors.
It happened at about 8.30pm on Saturday as he was travelling towards Pickering. Christopher sadly died at the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option two and ask to speak to Hamish Halloway or Lee Cobb.
