A SPECIAL baby is again making his way around Pickering helping to spread the Christmas message.
The four-inch figure of Jesus is being taken to more than 30 businesses, shops, schools and organisations before being returned to the parish church on Christmas Eve.
Father Antony Pritchett said: “People just love him. Although we’ve been doing this for a few years now, some shopkeepers still look a little surprised when I invite them to look after a baby for a night.”
After his journey through the shops and businesses of Pickering, Baby Jesus will arrive at Pickering Church in time for the Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve.
