A VETERINARY practice has launched its Christmas appeal for local animal charities.
Battle Flatts Veterinary Clinic, which has a branch in Norton, is collecting pet foods, treats and toys.
A spokesman for the practice said: “At Battle Flatts we have a long standing tradition of supporting animal charities. At this time of year we are collecting dog and cat food for abandoned pets. With Christmas being one of the busiest times of the year for animal charities, it’s sad some animals are still forgotten.”
Donations will be distributed to local charities including Ryedale Rehabilitation wildlife, Ryedale Dog Rescue and Cats Protection.
