A PUB is seeking new owner for the first time in 17 years

Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has been instructed to sell the Blue Bell Inn, in Weaverthorpe.

The Blue Bell has seven en-suite guest rooms within the main building and a further six "Champagne Rooms" in two adjacent semi-detached cottages. The Blue Bell Inn has an oak themed bar and restaurant adorned and two further private dining rooms utilised for special occasions. The property also includes a three-bedroom owner’s accommodation.

David Cash, business agent at Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, said:“The current owners, Jarrod and Leanne Fisher have owned the property since 2000 and have heavily invested in the property during their time here, including the addition of six luxury rooms in 2006.

"Albeit the business is very well established and continually profitable, there is certainly opportunity for improvement for the new owner, for example by reinstating the seventh bedroom in the main pub which is currently under-utilised. We expect to see high demand for the business from a variety of potential purchasers.”

Christie & Co is seeking an asking price of £985,000 for the freehold, with the added option of purchasing the pub separately for £595,000.
