A NEWLY-established school student leadership team made up of sixth formers and students has been set up at Norton College.
The aim is to have up to 20 students from each year, representing their year group.
Their role will be to help in hosting key school events such as parents’ evenings, open evenings and tours of the school for prospective parents.
Head teacher Phil Loftus said: “Ofsted praised us, last month, for how we prepare our children and young people for the world of work.
“This is a great example of what we do best here at Norton College. We want to engender independence and self-belief - two key ASPIRE values - in our students to prepare them for the academic challenges they face at school.”
