THE festive season got underway in Norton this afternoon.
Norton was the new venue for the annual Santa Fun Runs, organised by Ryedale Special Families, as part of the Christmas lights switch-on.
The event, included three races for children and adults as well as entertainments and the Christmas lights switch-on.
Councillor Ray King, Norton mayor, said: “We are delighted to be able to integrate this with our annual Christmas lights switch-on. Once again we are pleased to be working with and supporting local charities."
