35-year-old woman dies following road crash
A 35-YEAR-OLD woman has been killed in a car crash.
The crash happened at 5.45pm yesterday at the junction of the B1228 General Lane and Ash Lane at East Cottingwith, near Pocklington.
The woman died in a collision between her car, a Peugeot 208, and that of a woman driving a Vauxhall Mokka.
The women were the only occupants of both vehicles.
The driver of the Vauxhall Mokka suffered serious - but not thought to be life-threatening - injuries.
Humberside Police are now appealing for witnesses to contact them if they saw either vehicle prior to the collision.
