MALTON will hold the first ever Ryedale District Jobs and Careers Fair on Friday, November 10.
The fair, organised by Jobcentre Plus in conjunction with Scarborough Jobmatch, will be held at the Milton Rooms in Malton between 10am and 1pm.
In a statement, Scarborough Jobmatch said: "Following the success of the recent York Jobs fair, we realised it would be a fantastic opportunity to organise a similar jobs and careers fair for the Ryedale District.
"Many local employers have current vacancies, and by inviting them all to this type of event, it gives them a great opportunity to fill their vacancies, widening the talent and skills of their workforce.
"Candidates will be able to meet employers face-to-face and discuss potential vacancies and career prospects, with the possibility of immediate interviews on the day."
The jobs fair is a free event, with free advice and guidance whether you’re unemployed and looking for work, looking for a new opportunity or wanting to enhance your own personal development.
The organisers added that they recommend attendees dress as they would for a job interview and take along copies of an up-to-date CV.
