DRIVERS are being warned of possible delays in the York area tomorrow morning as another abnormal load convoy travels through.
The lorry is set to leave Portastor in Jockey Lane, Huntington, at 9.30am, on its way to Hull Docks, reaching Stockton on the Forest at about 10am, Pockington at 11am and Market Weighton at noon.
The cargo is destined for the United Arab Emirates. The main units are 27 metres long, 4.6 metres wide, 4.5 metres high and weigh 75 tonnes.
Due to their height, they are not permitted to travel along the main trunk road and motorway network, but must use the designated 'High-Load Route' from York to Hull.
Police will provide rolling road escorts and electrical engineers will intervene to raise cables where necessary.
The first such convoy took place last Friday.
