A DRIVER suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in this weekend.
Humberside Police said a black Vauxhall Astra left the A165 near Bessingby Hill, Bridlington, close to the junction of the B1253, and crashed into a field.
A police spokesman said two people were injured in the crash, which happened at about 2am on Sunday, October 22, and one remained in hospital in a very serious condition.
He said: "The driver and passenger were both injured in the collision.
"The driver, a 60 year-old man suffered serious and life-threatening injuries in the collision and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, where he remains in a critical condition. The passenger, a 43 year-old woman, sustained minor injuries."
Anyone who saw the crash, or saw the black Vauxhall Astra prior to the crash, should phone Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 71 of Sunday, October 22.
