MALTON Hospital League of Friends is celebrating following a £500 donation from a building firm.
The money, donated by Taylor Wimpey, will be used by the charity to fund essential items at Malton Hospital.
Barbara Dimmey, secretary and treasurer at the Malton Hospital league of Friends, said: “We strive to support Malton Hospital by providing it with the vital equipment it needs to offer new and up to the minute treatment and diagnosis.
“The money will have a positive impact on the members of the local community who depend on the hospital’s services.”
Debbie Whittingham, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, said: “We look forward to working with the charity again soon and wish it every success in its future fundraising activities.”
