A WOMAN has been left with a hand injury after a knifepoint robbery in Middlesbrough.
The robbery happened at Longlands Stores on Longlands Road after a man wearing surgical gloves entered the premises with a silver steak knife.
The incident happened at around 9.25pm on Saturday, October 7 at Longlands Stores on Longlands Road.
The suspect entered the store with a silver steak knife and when challenged by a female staff member he left the store empty-handed up Ingleby Road and onto Roseberry Road. The woman suffered a minor cut to the palm of her hand.
The man is described as a white, aged in his 50s and wearing glasses, a black jacket with the hood pulled up, jeans and dark grey and black Adidas trainers. He had a bald head and is believed to be around 5ft 6in tall.
