A GLIMPSE into a treasure chest of artefacts is on offer this month.

The Woodhams-Stone Collection is holding a second exhibition giving visitors a rare opportunity to look at some of the fascinating items collected by Norton born and bred Sid Woodhams and John Stone over the last 50 years.

The exhibition will take place on Saturday, October 21, from 10am to 4pm, at Trinity Church, Commercial Street, in Norton.

Di Keal, chairman of the trustees, said: “Since we set up the steering committee to manage the Woodhams-Stone Collection in 2011, we have made huge strides in cataloguing, assessing and exhibiting some of the many hundreds of items that we hold."

The exhibition is free, but donations will be welcome towards the work of the Woodhams-Stone Collection and refreshments will also be served.
