TICKETS are now on sale for a Christmas shopping event which has raised thousands of pounds for charity.
The Duncombe Park Christmas Fair, in aid of children’s charity the NSPCC, will be held on Friday, November 17, and Saturday, November 18, with a special preview evening with champagne reception on Thursday, November 16. There will be a wide selection of independent stallholders selling gift item.
Karen Storey, chairman of the NSPCC Duncombe Park Christmas Fair Committee, said: “Tickets are already selling fast and we are hoping to match or even exceed last year’s fantastic attendance figures.”
Last year’s charity fair raised £56,423 to help vulnerable children in Yorkshire and across the UK.
Tickets for the Friday and Saturday are available on the website for £8, or at the door for £10. Tickets for the preview evening are £17.50 each on the website, and are strictly limited.
