POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary in Gate Helmsley.

Tools were taken from Langford Garage between 3.05am and 4.20pm on Wednesday, September 27.

A set of ratchet and sockets in a red case were taken.

Thieves also took an infra-red camera used for diagnosing electrical wiring faults on vehicles.

Police said: "We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

"In particular, we are appealing for information regarding if anyone saw any vehicle in the area at the time or witnessed anyone suspicious in the area of Langford Garage or anyone with any CCTV footage."
